- Place cocoa,oil and water in a mixing bowl and mix well.
- Add castor sugar and mix.
- Add slightly beaten egg yolks with vanilla essence and mix well.
- Add in the flour and 2 teaspoon baking powder and mix well.
- Beat the egg whites with 1/2 teaspoon baking powder and beat till stuff and fold into mixture.
- Pour into a greased baking tin and bake at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until skewer comes out clean.
- Decorate as desired.
Loosen sides of cake from pan; remove from pan. If desired, top your cake with chocolate ganache, icing, or whipped cream. Stir together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Lastly, stir in boiling water and mix well.
