7 Spoon Chocolate Cake instructions
- Let's start to make cake first. In a clean bowl add Eggs beat, sugar and vanilla essence and beat it fill fluffy..
- Then add oil and milk beat it again for a minute then add sifted flour, Coco powder, salt and baking powder. Beat it on low spead till combine..
- Pour in tin (I am using round cake mould). Then bake it at 180° (350F) for 25 to 30 minutes or till done. (I am using Pateela and bake on stove it will take approximately 30 to 35 minutes..
- When by inserted wooden skrewer it's comes out clean it's means it's done. Let it cool..
- Make mixture to soak the cake. In mixer add sugar, Coco powder and icing sugar blend it (can whisk it). Pour this mixture on cooled cake and let it soak..
- Beat chilled whipping cream with cocoa powder untill whipped (my cream is already sweetened because it's non dairy sweet whipping cream if used double cream then add icing sugar in it as par taste)..
- Cover the cooled and soaked cake with whipped cream. Cover all edges with cream. (I am making birthday cake so I dismould the cake carefully because after soaking it's really moist)..
- After creamed the cake keep it in fridge while making chocolate Ganache..
- To making chocolate Ganache heat up cream in microwave (can also do this on double boiler) then add chocolate in it and whisk untill smooth textured sauce is ready after mixing it should be thin but after at room temperature it's going to thick..
- Pour the room temperatured chocolate Ganache on cooled cake. And cover it all by dripping it. Now cool the cake again to set the Ganache..
- In piping bag set the nozzle as your choice add remaining cream in it then the wooden skrewer in colours one by one and inser in sides of cream (I am using red, yellow, green and blue colour)..
- Now decorate the cake with cream, sprinkles, edible silver pearls and bunties..
- Soft, tasty and yummy cake is ready to serve..
The end product is a rich, gooey cake that has an intense chocolate flavor - it's like the best fudgey brownie/cake thing ever. The best way to serve this is warm with a big ol' scoop of vanilla ice cream. My husband loves German Chocolate cake and so I made it for his birthday. I decided to go for a home made frosting instead of out of the can, and I'm glad I did. Mine turned out great and it smelled so good while it was cooking.
